- That was many years ago. I was allowed to go to a shop and buy something on my own. Four sachets of milk was what I purchased first - handed out a 10 rupee note and got a balance of one. Well the love for retail came much later. For four years I was associated with helping retailers such as Lowe's, Canadian Tire, Leroy Merlin and Safeway source goods into their stores from the Indian sub continent. The love for following retail stuck on even after I moved to US to pursue an MBA. Today I am a management consultant and based in New York
